Thank you for the reply. Still, apologies for asking further, but I’m not sure I followed the example.
Did you mean to say
“The playlist’s items are added to the play queue as individual play queue items. (and not as a “block”)
Which means if you use “Add to Queue ” on additional items, they are going to be played after the current track.”
instead of “Play Next”?
The behaviour you describe is indeed what I’d expect from “Play Next”, as you mention, but I’d expect “Add to Queue” to add them, well, at the end of the queue. And I’m not sure I am alone in that expectation or reports?

When playing music on Roku Preview client, using the ‘Add to queue’ option under the ‘…’ (extras) button from an album adds all tracks after the currently playing song rather than to the end of queue.

Fault is identical to this one but still happening in desktop player. Very annoying when listening to music and trying to work. Largely defeats use of “Playback Queue”
Trying to set up a music queue in Plex and I’ve noticed a rather annoying and inconsistent behavior with the “Add to queue” function. I’ve observed this quite a bit and managed to pin down how to consistently reproduce it.

When trying to add music to the queue, Plex adds it next in the queue instead of to to the end. This does not happen every time I use the functionality, but it happens often and has been occurring since I first started using Plex for music consistently this past spring.
When this behavior occurred today, I was in the middle of playing an album and then went to add a playlist to the queue. This occurs regardless of which track …

When playing music on the iOS player, adding an album to the queue by choosing “Add to Queue” queues the album up next instead of appending it to the end of the queue. The behavior is exactly the same as choosing “Play Next,” which is not what I expect. In order to add something to the end of the queue, I have to choose “Add to Queue” and then manually rearrange the queue to put it at the end.

Expected behaviour: the selected playlist or album would appear afte…
Though this effectively only happens with playlists, and not with albums. Maybe that is the problem - and what you were trying to refer to?
