I’m trying to split my movies into to folders for family and other, but there is no button to pick which folder I need when adding to the library. It just goes from general settings to advance then to add to library .
Am I missing something?
If your Plex server is running on one of those “WD MyCloud” devices, then no.
You can only use the predefined ‘media’ folders on this device.
Oh shame, have to use my shield as the server then!
I’ve just renamed the home video (as I won’t use that on plex anyway) to family movies and loaded all the films and its found the metadata and thumbs etc. So that has worked to give me a workaround. Not ideal but may help others to separate film types.
Western Digital need to sort this though, stupid oversight.
