Plex would not launch. I couldn’t see any plex processes in the task manager nor in the system tray. I couldn’t reach my server from the browser app. I tried to reach http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html#!/ and it said that the site couldn’t be reached 127.0.0.1 refused to connect. I uninstalled and re-installed plex from the plex downloader. Nothing changed. I still couldn’t connect from the browser and when I logged into my event viewer I saw an application error.

I found this support page and decided to try and completely remove plex from my computer.
I shut the computer down and powered back on and re-installed the plex media server. No change. I still get the error in event log. After the installer says that it completed successfully, I select launch and nothing happens. I start the server from the windows icon and nothing happens. I still can’t see any processes in task manager and nothing in the system tray. I have no clue where to go from here. Unfortunately I didn’t look at plex media server logs before deleting everything like the support page suggested.
