Agent scanner issue - Battlestar Galactica

Hey all. I’m having trouble getting the Plex TV show scanner to correctly identify the two Battlestar Galactica shows. When I use it I keep getting episodes crossing over into each show (1978 vs 2003). I’m sure I’ve got the naming convention correct as when I resort to using the TVDB scanner it all works.

To me it seems like the info for the 1978 show is incorrect and the scanner resorts to thinking they files belong to the 2003 show. Is there anything I can do to report the issue? Or any advice is welcome thanks.

Please show us a screen capture, from the root of your TV library, and all the way down to a faulty episode

Thanks for looking into it Dane. Unless it breaks again I seem to have resolved it by switching to the old scanner and then back to the new one. I think the issue might be that the first episode of the 1978 version has 3 parts but the scanner is only seeing it as two. (It’s a single file called Battlestar Galactica - S01E01-E02-E03) that you can see in the screen grab. If you check TVDB that should be 3 episodes. File attached.

For what it’s worth I tried naming the 1978 version ‘Battlestar Galactica (1978) - SXXEXX etc’ but that didn’t sort it.

Its how I done it for this show and it works perfectly. If you want I can provide a full file listing.

I suggest you name the show folders like:

Battlestar Galactica (1978) {tmdb-501}

Battlestar Galactica (2004) {tmdb-1972}
