Battlestar Galactica 2003 & 1978 being consolidated

I’ve read a few posts about issues scraping BSG but none of them were having the issue I’m having.
I’ll also read the naming guide and checked tvdb.com to make sure I got the names right.

So I have the original BSG and the 2003 reboot. Structured like this…

/TV
/Battlestar Galactica (2003)
/S01
Battlestar Galactica.2003.S01E01.mkv
Battlestar Galactica.2003.S01E02.mkv
Etc…
/S02
Etc…

And

/TV
/Battlestar Galactica
/S01
Battlestar Galactica.S01E01E02E03.mkv
Battlestar Galactica.S01E04.mkv
Etc…

The original series (Battlestar Galactica) are not being picked up by Plex. I only get Battlestar Galactica (2003).
And all the espisodes from the original series are showing up under Battlestar Galactica (2003) so Plex thinks I have multiple versions of episodes for season 1 of Battlestar Galactica (2003).

I’ve run out of ideas. Any advice form anyone? Screenshot attached.

Since the media has already been scanned,

  1. Move out
  2. Scan files
  3. Empty Trash
  4. Clean Bundles
  5. Rename media
  6. Move back
  7. Scan and allow to match properly as fresh

Name both your main folders and files with the date “Battlestar Galactica (2003)” and “Battlestar Galactica (1978)” for the folders and
“Battlestar Galactica (2003) - sXXeYY - optional info.ext” and “Battlestar Galactica (1978) - sXXeYY - optional info.ext” for the files. Also you need to correct the season folders to be “Season XX”

When you make those changes do the Plex dance:

Move all the files to where Plex can not see them.
Update the library in Plex.
Empty trash.
Remove bundles.
Move all the files back into your Plex library.
Scan the library again.

Looks liking adding (1978) to the original series did the trick. I also added each series one at a time and did a sync each time. Not sure if that was the difference.
