About 4 days ago, any new media stopped getting matched up. Both TV shows and movies, and naming is exact same as they were last week. When i try to manually match,it cannot find anything in the search, but if I go to thetvdb.com, the exact same search finds it fine. ive tried deleting cache, framework and system plugins, restarting computer, repairing the installation. Nothing is fixing it. This is on a Windows machine. I don’t know if this is the right log to get help so let me know.

Deleting the plug in folder did not fix this. So frustrating that I cannot it. If I uninstall plex media server so I can re-install, am I going to lose all my matched content and watched status?
Check your firewall/security suite/windows firewall. Am not sure about data…
I deleted the plugins.support folder which erased all the meta data and watched status. When I set up my share folders again, TV shows all got matched up but movies hadn’t as of a couple hours later. Losing the watched stays hurt so I restored the folder from before and i’m back to all the shows and movies from the past week not matching up. So something is definitely up with that folder. Any thing I can save from the folder or do I just have to bite the bullet and delete it again and start from scratch?
Nothing changed on my firewalls so pretty sure it’s not that.
Its a shame you lost your watched status etc. There are several guides to start from scratch on the same or even a totally different PC and maintaining metadata and watched status. It doesn’t help with your main problem but more for reference if you encounter the same thing in the future.
Had the same issue over the last two days. My solution was to go back to a Plex version that worked the last time I added new files (May, 2015). That worked for files added after the downgrade but the few files that were the problem had to be individually refreshed. All working now…
I’ve tried all the suggestions and unfortunately cant get it fixed. I saw one suggestion is to go to channels and update. The weird thing is that if I go to install channels, there are no channels for me to install. This could be related to my problems. It could be related to me deleting folders and uninstalling/reinstalling over and over. I thought they should re-populate but they haven’t.
I just completely deleted plex media server following the guide, then installed the latest version and shared all my folders all over again. My tv shows still arent matching up. I see some errors in the log attached. Can someone help with them? I’m also not seeing any new channels to install either. All I see is the iTunes channel.Note i’m adding the -1 in these file names because it wouldnt let me post them since i already posted the same logs above.
FYI, I found out some malware put a proxy on my computer and caused the issue. unchecked proxy and working great again.
