"Fix Match" and Auto Match No Longer Work

Server Version#: 1.33.0.2444-a220eae4

So basically the issue I’m having is my Plex TV Agent is unable to match a show recently added and when I do a manual fix match the windows spends a long time loading then eventually shows 'no matches found". Same thing happens when I try to match a show with that already had metadata downloaded in the past or even a movie, the Plex TV and Plex Movie Agents simply aren’t working for me. Worked perfectly fine last night when I added some movies (auto match worked fine) then ran a server update, today the agents are not playing nice.

Let me know if any logs needs to be posted.

Right now, Plex is having service interruptions with the “match” feature. We’re waiting for the team response of the issue.

Okay, nice to know I’m not the only one with issues, didn’t see anything on the Plex Status page so wasn’t sure. Is there a place you can check the status of the TV and Movie Agents? Definitely would prefer to do that over wasting people’s time on the forum.

In another thread, I saw a Plex employee say he was taking a look.

If you check the forums, reports are coming in from all over. I’m pretty sure Plex is looking at it now - looks like a backend outage for them.

This outage didn’t show on the status page last I looked.

Yes, it would be on the StatusPage>Media metadata> But its saying its “operational” so they’ve haven’t updated to reflect the outage yet.

Yes I can see that too, thanks for pointing it out. Seeing a flood of new threads being made with metadata issues so yeah seems the issue is on their end. Can just wait for them to resolve the issue was more just worried there was a problem with my server, been the first major problem I’ve had but relieved they’re aware of it and not just me.

Maybe for you, but I still can’t match. Did you do anything to make it show up? It’s not even there for me

I’m pretty sure they did resolve the underlying service outage awhile ago. Mine worked as well, as did most I’ve seen.

I just restarted my server and did a refresh metadata and match, and suddenly it was pulling data again.

If you are still having issues - I’d wager it’s a different problem.

Try getting your logs and seeing what the output is as you do the action, if you’re developer-saavy. If not, you can always send your logs to folks in a post here. I would recommend considering opening yourself a new thread so the Plex gurus see it and can help you.

Sorry to hear that but it could be a separate issue as it has already been suggested. I ran a “refresh metadata” on the affected items once they solved the issue on their side and no problems since, added some movies today without issue.
