Airplay 2 audio support in Enhanced Player

Hi, trying to get an update or create some momentum again on this feature.

To make it short:

  • Enhanced player doesn’t work when two Airplay 2 devices are selected in the tvOS menu (also when one of the two is the apple-tv, i.e: the tv speakers), sound only outputs to one (works fine in any other app on the same device; works fine with old player)
  • Current airplay audio in the enhanced player suffers from sync issues (often audio slightly ahead of video) and long pause/play buffer

When can we expect Airplay 2 support for the Enhanced player? I can’t always use the old player for some files… and I would like to use both the AppleTV audio output and another airplay receiver sometimes.
