Alexa Plex skill dissappeared

I’ve been playing my Plex music library successfully via the Alexa Plex skill on my Sonos One for a couple of months now. The other day Alexa just refused to play anything from plex, so I removed the skill in my Alexa app (as I had done in the past when this sort of thing happenedd), but when I search for it now it doesn’t come up in the list of available skills. I’ve wiped out my Alexa app and started from scratch but still can’t find the Plex skill when I search for it in the Alexa app :frowning: Plex is my only source of music and the only reason I have the Sonos is to play my plex library, so any help here would be massively appreciated!!

That’s awesome! Only problem is I’m not you. Below is what I see when I search plex in Alexa. As stated, this used to show up just like yours, now it doesn’t and I’m looking for help in how to remedy the situation.

Sorry, wasn’t trying to say it wasn’t happening to you, just that i can’t reproduce the issue so it’s not something plex did on purpose.

What country are you in? Just wondering if this is a regional issue.

No worries, also didn’t mean to be rude, but I’m totally stumped on what’s happened. I’m in Canada, so shouldn’t be a regional issue. Also as stated it was working before until I recently removed the skill and tried re-adding it.

Solved! I had to log into amazon.com and go to the digital content settings section of my account, where for some reason my country was set to Belgium. Changed this to Canada (and changed all my US info to my actual Canadian info), re-setup my Alexa app on my phone, and presto the Plex app is back and working again.

I have no idea how I was ever able to use the Plex app before and why it disapeared, but hopefully this is helpful if anyone else ever has this issue.
