Unexpectedly all my items refuse to play with the message “Please check the permission for this file.”
On my Mac, if I navigate to the drive → folder where my files are kept, I can launch them with VLC, preview or the Quicktime player no problem, but through Plex I get this permissions error.
Have you checked the macOS security / data protection settings and confirmed the Plex Media Server app is authorized to see data on system / removable volumes?
