PLEX gave me a message that my permissions had expired and I need to login in. When I logged in ALL my pinned categories were gone!!! Everything that I have aggregated over the past 5= years. Can I recover my categories and data???
Are they gone, or just unpinned?
Was this on the server itself or on a client?
One of my household showed me that exact same message on a Roku client yesterday.
Meanwhile the server and all other clients (remote & local) have had no such message.
The files are still on my hard drive but I had 15 categories with 550+ movies in each one that are no loner on my Home page, “Pinned”. The majority of the movies I had to manually upload the artwork for.
The message was on the server. A friend (external client) still sees everything and everything still works fine for him…
@beckfield gave you the suport page which has directions on how to pin the libraries you want to home screen individually, and it has directions how to reset customizations so you can start from scratch and select your main server and the libraries you want from it to be pinned to start with.
