All users except admin recieve "There was an error loading channels" when attempting to load live tv guide

The fix is to roll back to the latest Public (stable) release instead of using the current beta release.

I was never on the beta release. My plex server told me I had an update and I updated. That’s on them.

Please post a screenshot of your Channel Update setting in Settings / Server / General.

I can confirm that 1.18.0.1944-f2cae8d6b resolves this particular issue that is in the latest beta release. Will have to wait for a fix and stay on the Public release until then

I do not have that rollback build. So, I hope as a new user with the Quatro, this is fixed quickly.

The version specified is the last public release, so uninstall beta version and install latest public release

chrisallen or darcilicious will this be fixed in the next beta update? Because now the stable version is the recent beta and the problem still persist🙁 My server is in a remote location and I can’t view any live TV unless signed in as admin on all TVs or rolling back to previous version. Thank you in advance!

The old Public Release version can still be downloaded from: https://downloads.plex.tv/plex-media-server-new/1.18.0.1944-f2cae8d6b/windows/PlexMediaServer-1.18.0.1944-f2cae8d6b-x86.exe for windows based machines. Change the word “windows” in the URL to “macos” for the Mac version. You’ll need to turn off automatic update in Settings --> General --> Server version updates, if you have it turned on to stop the latest broken version overwriting it once applied. Hope this helps. Once a fix is available, then turn Auto Update on again to pick it up.

Has this been fixed in 1.18.2.2015? There was no mention of it in the release notes.

From my testing yes it was fixed but I still went back to the 17 series of Plex due to other problems:)

I agree at least on Windows. Last 2 revs including latest for Windows (1.18,4,2164) works for all users. Let me qualify that
in the house.

What I am curious on is whether they somehow removed/control remote access now. Either you cannot share with outside users or they have physically removed any ability to share live tv with outside users.
