"An unknown error has occurred" - Tried everything!

Like many, my Samsung TV (Model UN55KU6290F - 2017) has stopped working with Plex intermittently. It sometimes works, other times gives the “unknown error has occurred” error. I have set the app and the server to prefer insecure connections, I have attempted to update the TV, the app, and the server, I have rebooted all devices, uninstalled the app and unplugged the TV before reinstalling, but still all the same.

I see that it has apparently been fixed for several TVs, but I can’t get an update past 5.10.0 on my TV, and none of the fixes are working for me. What can I do?? I have added my logs (I think).

I had a similar issue (Samsung 2020 TV) after an apparent app lockup (version was 5.32.1). When I was able to restart the app it reinstalled 5.10.0 (at least that was the version number displayed after a LONG reboot). I had to sign in again and when I did, I was getting a lot of “unknown error has occurred” messages.

I uninstalled the app, reinstalled, 5.32.1 was back and all is well (almost - see New 'Live TV' guide no longer has a way to jump to future days). There is something about that 5.10.0 that causes that error…
