Sorry Dan but already answered you once. Force stop and reopening does not fix the problem. It is the beta version of 7.24.x that has a problem not the version from 3 months ago.

apologies if stating the obvious, but have you tried turning off the New player in the app settings and using the old player. That seemed to work for me.

I’m not sure that I can recall seeing a setting relating to the selection of the player but I will certainly have another look later when I get home. Thanks for the suggestion.

It should be in the Advanced row of settings (at least it is on mine), I think it defaulted to on when I installed the beta.

I must have looked at that settings screen hundreds of times over recent months and to this point I never knew that the ‘Advanded’ row extended off to the right of the screen! One more post on this, when i switch to the old player, chapters load fine again. Just this new player has trouble loading chapters consistently.
