Android Issue - Sign in failed - User could not be authenticated

I am have updated to latest version of android and the app via play store. I’m seeing

“Sign-in failed User could not be authenticated”

This isn’t an issue of IP because I am seeing the issue on wifi as well as cellular. I do get the IP error that other users mention when I’m on Wifi, but still the issue is authentication under the correct profile on the device. I saw this on both my GalaxyFold 4 Galaxy Ultra 23. I’m not seeing the issue replicated on iOS. I can login via another profile so it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the server or the application/device. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same, starting around the same time. I get the error message BEFORE the request for TOTP (Time based One Time Passcode) comes. Plexamp on the same device logs in just fine with the same password and correct TOTP

Same issue on multiple devices. The Plex app for Android used to work fine but now I can’t log in. Plex works fine from a browser on these devices.

have you tried clearing cache for the app? Does it matter if on Wifi or cellular?
