Sign in failed: user could not be authenticated

Pixel 8 running android 15.

Good day, over a month ago I changed phones to a pixel 8. Since then I I am unable to login in to the Plex App on my phone. I always get " Sign in failed: user could not be authenticated.".
I have been trying this for over 1 month now, leaving many days between attempts. I’ve tried resetting my password, etc
I can login to Plex via Chrome browser on the phone with no issue.
I can login to to Plex on other devices with no issue.
I have cleaned the cache and data from from the Plex app.

I’ve now run out of ideas.
Any help would be appreciated.

When my wife tries to sign in this is exactly what she is getting.
Anyone been able to help with this authentication error.

What’s causing it? fix? help?

Same issue. Waited overnight. same issue. Can the same user name be used, at the same time on multiple devices?

Well, its been 16 days without an attempt to login on my roku devices, into plex to see if I can watch my perfectly working on PLEX/Firestick movies, and guess what?? User can’t be authenticated. (using ROKU/PLEX. Is this issue because the ROKU PLEX app is flawed?
I’ve followed all the online advice I can find, uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted user, cleared data cache, created a NEW user… ???
