I change my password as suggested. I have my computer working and all my TVs. However, I forgot to do the app on my phone. I keep getting Sign-in failed (User could not be authenticated). I am using my correct email address and the correct Password. What do I need to do now?
I tried again this morning and I still get the same thing. Sign-in failed (User could not be authenticated). So waiting 9 hours did not help. I even tried to sign in with a browser on the phone and get the same thing.
I tried removing the Plex Android app and reinstalling it. Still will not sign in. I get Sing in Failed User could not be authenticated. This IP appears to be having trouble signing in to an account (detected repeated failures). What am I supposed to do? Everything works except my phone. That includes trying to sign into the app or trying to use a browser to sign in. It is something with the phone. I am using the correct email address and the correct password. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW? IS ANYONE THERE?
I tried just to sign in to Plex using Edge, Firefox, and DuckDuckGo mobile browsers and I cannot sign in. I tried Chrome and was able to sign it, but it says app.plex.tv/desktop. I got that but, I still cannot sign into your Plex mobile app. Not sure if it makes a difference but I forgot to update the password right away. Although I did not update my desktop apps right away either. I even got my laptop out tonight and was able to put P
lex on it and no problem signing in. I have a Samsung S7 and had the app working until I need to reset the password on everything. What Do I Do Now???
I finally got the app to work. I reset my password again and had to go and link our TV to my server and my laptop. Everything is working now. After resetting I did have to reclaim my server. I never had to do that the first time. I am guessing I either missed or was not told to reclaim the server.
