Android Phone EPG won't show programs after 8PM

The Plex EPG on my Galaxy S24 Ultra will not show any programs after 8:00PM Eastern Time. The entries are all blank. I have to use my laptop to schedule recordings as the Android app cannot be used after 8PM. This problem has been occuring for at least a couple months now. Is there anything I can do to resolve this?

I checked the EPG last evening at about 7PM. There were shows up until 8PM the NEXT DAY. Then none after that.

Any thoughts on this issue? Is this a bug being worked on?

I thought I would update on something I just tried…

I uninstalled Plex from my phone and then side-loaded version 10.26.0.2578 using APKMirror Installer. Now when I scroll the EPG it still shows “Loading…” at 8PM. But I think I found a trick! If I scroll the guide to the left until the 8PM column JUST TOUCHES the left border of the guide (where the channel icons appear), then suddenly the guide updates! Scroll to the next day at 8PM, and I have to do the same thing again. But at least I’m getting shows now.

I don’t know if my last trick would work in the current version on the Play Store. I didn’t discover the “scroll to the edge” trick until now. I’ve turned off Auto Updates in the app store so I can stay on this 2/4/2025 version for the time being.

I hope this helps somebody else out. I hope they fix the app so it works more reliably.

I am still able to get guide entries after 8PM. There is a slight pause when I scroll past 8PM, and then the guide refreshes with all the programs after 8PM. So glad to say it seems to be working well.

The Play Store says there is an update available to 2025.23.0 I am NOT going to update to that for now - maybe later. What I have is working.

I apologize if I am posting confusing information on version numbers. It is a little difficult to tell which is which since they seem to use different version number formats in different places, and they’ll display a number without telling you if that is the client or the server. So I get confused.
