As per my previous reply latest beta resolves this
Latest beta completely breaks playback on Chromecast with Google TV so while this might solve one problem, itās not a solution that will work for many.
We are coming up on the 1 years anniversary of when this first started.

This continues to be a constant and consistent problem with basically any android device I use, and any kind of video I play. I canāt believe this is still a problem over a year later!!!
