Android TV 7.26.0.14578 - Bugs

Since the past month betas and official releases I started dealing with this two bugs.

  • After finishing a movie or episode, there is a high chance of getting a notification on the home screen with the episode or movie like is playing but with status “unknown”.
    Doesnt matter if I click dismiss, or close the notification. The status show again after you go back to home screen from another app or from plex app itself.
    “Open” just open plex but the notification show again.
    Only way to stop the notification from appear again with a force close.

  • the other bug is that the play status not update automatically until you change to another “page”. So if im in an episode or a movie page and the video finish. it get me back to the episode or movie page that still show as not viewed.

Plex: 7.26.0.14578 and last 10 betas and official releases.
Using new player.

The most frustrating one is the notification. cant find a way to disable it completely. I removed the notification permission but the bug persist.

For some reason mine won’t play files with AC3 5.1 or DTS 5.1 audio now. EAC3 seems to play fine. Using an Amazon FireTV Stick. Tried to load older versions. Notice on AC3 5.1 would initially play fine til I’d get a Update Player Support pop up. Then after it would stop working. I notice if I go all the way back to Version 6.4.1.1644. Then AC3 5.1 works. DTS 5.1 will work if I do Convert Automatically in version 6.4.1.1644. EAC3 stutters in 6.4.1.1644 unless I do Convert Automatically then it plays fine.
