Internet was out this morning, I was able to play videos from my plex server on my phone and computer but when trying with the TV it completely lost connection to my server until I logged out. Then I was able to browse the library but when I tried to play a video I would just get an infinite spinning wheel.
I was running the android tv app on an Nvidia Shield.
I want to be able to disconnect the WAN port on my router and still be able to play my videos on my TV locally.
Any suggested setting to change? Is it maybe the Nvidia Shield dropping network connection when it does not detect internet on the WiFi network?
edit - I did some testing with an ethernet cable and got some stuff to work must be something to do with the Nvidia TV handling wifi networks with no internet.
