Clicked them several times, unread indicator keeps re-appearing.
Is this known? Can it be fixed? Somewhat makes the indicator useless.

I get this all the time..... really annoying..... also, I keep ticking the box to enable "Play Theme Music" and it keeps getting un-ticked!!!!!!!!
I have done some further investigation and it appears to all be linked to browser history. I always clear my history and whenever this happens everything resets, including announcements. I think they need to start storing this information with the users subscription details online instead or on the server rather than relying on the browser history/cookies!!!!
If this is true and it seems very likely since I routinely clean all cookies and browser history on the end of each day, this is very subideal behavior. Is any Plex dev reading this? Read news should totally be linked to an account as opposed to doing this via cookies / browser history.

Mine has been fine until the 1.0.0 release and now I can’t get rid of the stupid 1 showing in the notification… very annoying. I get “News/announcements” in my email so don’t see the need for them on plex.
Mime went away after 4 days. Very annoying little dot.
