After upgrading to 1.20.2.3402 and having multiple issues such as PlexMediaScanner.exe crashes on repeated nights at 3-6 AM scheduled maintenance window, and random PMS crashes and disappearances from the Windows System Tray, has anyone had stability in the Plex Pass Windows PMS versions after 1.20.1.3252? I am stable now back on 1.20.1.3252, but am not ready yet to upgrade until I hear some positive experiences.
I updated to pretty much every beta when it was released… no such issues.
I was hoping to hear from regular Plex Pass users that are without product bias. Everyone knows Plex releases even public channel releases with problems on occasion.
I’ve been upgrading to each new Plex Pass release on my Windows-based Plex Media Server; I’ve not experienced the issues which you described.
If the crashes are occurring nightly, sounds like something in the scheduled tasks. Turn them off then back on 1 at a time and see if that causes the crash.
