Afraid it has not. I’ve just ordered a Roku to use with Plex! That’s how bad the experience is for me, choppy/frames dropped of content playback and jumpy/slow loading UI. It’s the first time I’ve had issue with Plex on Apple TV and hope they push an update out soon.

Roku playing fine, nice smooth playback and no stuttering or frames dropped. Just tried the Apple TV again and it’s stuttering and spluttering as before. Plex Team is a fix being worked on for this for Apple TV, do you need logs or anything to help diagnose the issues people experiencing?

Old player is working for me, so in settings of Plex enabling the old player fixed all my stuttering issues.

Exactly same issue. I used to have plex on an old Rasplex version before and never had any problem. Also no issue with the iOS app. Only with the apple TV.

Apart from the UI issues, I’ve been looking at this thread to revert back to the old video player and will update after a few days on performance.
