Apple TV3 not showing artwork in Trailers - Plex

Recently I’ve noticed from my 4 x Apple TV 3’s that none are showing movies / TV shows art work. They appear to be blank thumbnails. This has happened over the last few days and the only thing I know that’s changed is the Plex server update. Previous to this everything was OK.

If I open Plex on my PC I can see everything quite clearly, no problem.

I cannot put my finger on what has happened. Nothing obvious from my PC has happened , unless there’s a Windows update I can’t identify.

I had a look around the forums to see if there’s any similar reports , but I don’t see any. What information can I provide to help with some suggestions ?

I noticed some mention of Pillow somewhere and how that plays a role in artwork or thumbnails… I’m not so sure that this is installed (doesn’t appear to be but I couldn’t install it via install method), but artwork did work. I’m not sure how to install it if it’s as simple as that !?

Edit: Well that was a quick fix. I thought why touch what’s not broke, but turned out for the better. I can’t explain why it worked up until this point, but it works now and that’s all that matters. Thanks for the quick help. This is resolved.

Good. The point here is that you have upgraded Plex. This is good. But it may also affect interfaces that PlexConnect is using, and some were deprecated in new Plex versions. So, when updating Plex, pls also verify if a new PlexConnect version is available.
