As excited as I was about the release of Plex Arcade, it has left me severely disappointed. I finally got the right core for my SNES ROM’s and was able to launch Mortal Combat to test and play. Problem is that when I close the game to open a different game or just close the game to go to movies or whatever, my Plex crashes and I have to reboot my server.
To close a game I am moving my mouse onto the game screen to get the bottom gray bar to show and then clicking “x” to exit. Attached are my log files. The most recent incidents were 2/23 after 6p EST.Plex Media Server Logs_2021-02-23_14-27-38.zip (4.2 MB)
are you on the latest updated version of Plex? You need to be on the latest Beta update as this solves the Plex crashing issue. however there is apparently an issue that you cant run mixed cores for different platforms ie NES/SNES, GG/MS/MD each using different core (fixed in pending update so we’ve been told)
you’ve always been able to map different platforms to different cores, unless i’m misunderstanding (1 core per platform).
there are reports that when people are changing cores that it is changing for all cores that can use that core, not just the one selected.
sorry, i’m not sure i understand what this means ![]()
My Server had the latest updates at the time that this happened. My issue was that the first game I opened (SNES Mortal Combat) worked fine, but when I closed that game and tried to launch a different SNES game, my whole server crashed
