Attention ! What about the new subtitle option?

My experience with the “more” subtitles started well with 3 shows aired in the previous 48 hours all found a subtitle and worked perfectly…
I was surprised and delighted …

But alas I spoke too soon.
At the moment maybe 30% are getting workable subtitles.
Either no subtitles or 2 or 3 listed and get " Something went wrong when downloading subtitles. Please try again " Tried again many times with same result.

At this stage do not change your previous subtitle downloading habits

Also I would like to add that the subtitle site that Plex uses to find the subtitles (opensubtitles.org) -
IMO is struggling with the extra demand !
When I do a search using filebot it takes much longer.
Multiple media search did take 10-30 seconds for a dozen subtitles to be found. Now it takes several minutes and frequently just fails with no result !

Currently i get maybe 1 out of 20 subtitles I search.

i.e. 1 in 20 that find subtitles then 1 in 10 of those actually download and work .

Not a good result…

It appears I am the only one having subtitle issues!!

Damn, I am unlucky !

It turned out that opensubtitles.org did rate-limit the requests from Plex clients just like it does with other ordinary “leechers” without an account.
Which resulted in a hard block after a certain low-ish amount of subtitle requests.

This has been rectified now.
