Audio drops every 10-20 sec on Roku only (does not get out of sync, just drops out for less than a second). Web and Xbox player do not have any issue. Experienced this with two files separately while streaming both locally, in Plex Media Server 1.log it was Thor Ragnarok (showing up as “Thor’s Hammer” for some reason?) and the other was Batman VS Robin.
Both files share the following attributes:
- Audio Profile: he-aac
- Container: MKV
- Codec: h264
It’s similar to this issue but I’m just reporting this in case it is due to a recent update, I’ve never noticed this behavior before personally but I have heard of it occurring (usually with Xbox player, but in this case that is working fine for me). I assume Roku is not playing nicely with the video / audio wrapper(s), but I have watched these files on my Roku before and the audio was perfect.
