Server Version#: 1.14.0.5465
Player Version#: 3.75.3
I am signing in with a user on Chrome signed into the browser itself and also with Plex with the same Google Account, going into settings and clicking “Automatically Sign In.”
I then close the browser.
From another machine, I send this user a link via Skype to a video on the server that they are assigned to and have access.
Upon clicking the link, the first thing that happens is that the user is presented with a sign-in prompt for Google/Facebook/Plex.
Expected: Since the user is using a Google Account and is signed in with Chrome, has already signed in and has clicked the “Automatically Sign In” option, the user should not be presented with a login but should leverage the stored authentication token cookie with Google.
After clicking the Google option, the process continues but the user is shown yet another dialog to select the user (again). The user then selects their Google Account and is finally shown the link that they clicked on in Skype.
Furthermore, the “Automatically Sign In” box is unchecked, despite having checked it prior to saving and closing the browser.
Expected: The process should work as it does when you send a Google Drive document or Google-based resource from Skype (or any other chat/resource). If the user has already signed in with “Automatically Signed In,” the user should click the link and immediately be taken the process without any prompting.
Hopefully, this is a known issue. Please let me know if there is any further information that I can provide.
Thank you in advance for any assistance.
