can you please do me a favour and show a screenshots of the auto generated tags? I have reinstalled the PLEX Server on my Respberry Debian 3 times in the past. Also installed alternative plex servers under Windows on 2 machines and also a friend has enabled the autotag feature. It NEVER worked on any instance. And for now I have not seen a single user here who shows that it works.
And if a feature has bugs, no matter if all are affected or just a part of the userbase. It has to be fixed and not ignored for over a year now (there are older threads already from end of 2019 discussing the exact same issue). It is a paid feature. And Many of us pay for it but it is not working. Plex developers just ignoring all complains is inacceptable.
Fascinating. So there is proof that it can work along with a lot of evidence from users in this thread that it rarely works. Now we need someone from Plex to explain why there is such a difference in behaviors.
Can confirm the places tagging now works for me with the latest version. It has never done so previously so this is a win. Auto tagging still does not though
Well dip me in butter and call me a biscuit! Auto-Tagging appears to be working all of a sudden…Every photo is not tagged but it’s more than none and some tags are over 100 hits so something is working I guess…
