Hi there,
Ran an upgrade to the PLEX app from the content store and now the app just crashes. It goes round in a loop asking to reset the app over and over. Worked fine before the upgrade and there is no way to go back to the previous version that did work.

I have deleted and reinstalled the app a number of times which did not fix the problem.

Any ideas to help me get my PLEX back please :frowning:

Just a quick update I turned off Direct Play and Direct Stream now its all working fine again. Not sure if that will affect any other device (they all seem to be working) but its working fine now so happy days.

Wow at least you were able to find a workaround Mrteddyears.
There should be a law that devices with apps need to have a way to roll back instantly.

Is there any chance we can get Log Files for you guys? Maybe steps to reproduce?

@beofrank please make a new topic just for your problem.
That way the Plex people will see it better. Use a descriptive title similar to

Plex Player is unable to start after app update, LGTV or Samsung model #, can’t roll back, always errors.
