I am trying to add a TV Episode that just debuted. So it is Season 15. I have other seasons posted and it’s fine. I added the folder and the file and it doesn’t show up. I have the file names exactly the same except the season number.
I even checked https://thetvdb.com/ and the show season appears.
I worked on this for hours and I’m completely baffled.

Note that it sometimes takes Plex 24 - 48 hours to pick up additions to TMDB or TVDB.
It is RuPaul Drag Race Untucked. RuPaul Drag Race S15 posted fine. But for some bizarre reason Untucked isn’t working.
There is no season 15 in Ru Paul’s Drag Race: Untucked on TheMovieDB.org, which is used by Plex as the default episode ordering.

This year’s episodes are in season 14.
So, check which episode ordering you have selected in the properties of the “Untucked” show.
You’ll have to tell Plex explicitly to use the “Aired” ordering from TheTVDB.
Thank you! Now that makes a lot of sense! So I just need to wait for TMDB to get caught up! No more tearing out of hair.
Actually no. TheTVDB and TMDB simply disagree about the total number of seasons in that show. i.e. TMDB won’t catch up.
and yet again a show that got different season numbering depending on where you look.
MTV got 14, IMDB got 15 and, the same does Amazon.
