Best way to add a new remote user

What is the best way to add a second user that will be only accessing my library from a remote location ie: at https://app.plex.tv/desktop…?

Plex Docs → Remote Access & Server Sharing

Have them obtain a free account at plex.tv.

Invite them as a Friend to your server in Settings → Manage Library Access.

Plex will send them an e-mail invitation. However, many e-mails are delayed right now due to the number of password reset requests being processed.

Instead, they can accept the invitation by logging into their account at https://app.plex.tv/desktop. There should be a notification badge on their username/icon in the upper right corner.

Note: If they will be watching on a PC/Mac/Linux system, have them try Plex Desktop. It is a more capable client than Plex Web, direct playing most video and audio formats. It may reduce the transcoding load on your server.
