Black posters with correct metadata

Lots of movies I add to my library won’t display the poster, they only show a screenshot of the movie. When I click on the movie, all the info of the movie is there, actors, summary, etc. If I manually change the poster with the pencil on the left bottom of each movie, the poster goes black after selecting the correct one. I cannot see the pictures of the actors, the image is black too, but their names are there.
I tried repairing the database, but no luck. My files are stored on a Time Capsule and I am using Plex Media Server on a MacMini.
As I couldn’t make it work as it should I erased PMS from the computer and reinstalled it, but nothing changed, posters still become black after changing them. After this I installed PMS on a MacbookPro and on a Macbook, same thing happens on the 3 computers.
I tried changing the localtion of the database, I even tried deleting everything and making a new database on the local hard drive, but problem persists. I don’t know really what else to do, next step is cancelling my plex suscription. Please help :scream:

This looks like an agent issue. Try moving Local media assets agent in (Plex Movie and The Movie Database) to the bottom and scan your Library.

I’ve done that and it gets even worse. Those two posters you see blanck are movies that showed a screenshot but I manually edited it and selected the correct on. After saving changes it becomes black. As you can see all the info of the movie is there and correct, so it is not failing in fetching metadata, the thing are the posters.
Why doesn’t it work installing PMS on any of my 3 computers? I read problem could come with IPv6 but don’t know how to ckeck this out.

.

IPv6, go to Network Preferences/Advanced.

Go to Plex settings/network

Thank you for your answer @SE56. Just turned off Ipv6 but problem is still there.

As I don’t know what else to do I just deleted PMS, started from scratch, added only one movie (bohemian rhapsody) )to my library. Same thing, metadata correct, but screenshot as a poster. When I try to change it, it goes black.
I’m attaching these new logs and pictures of my agents config.

Plex Media (208.0 KB)

Ok, try looking at your Plex Movie Settings.

That a screenshot of my settings are your’s similar? If not change and refresh metadata

I reached the screen you sent me by accessing advanced features when you click edit of a particular library. Im attaching screenshot. I ended on Plex Movie Settings differently, but I have the same options ticked as you. I was missing use red band and adult content :joy::joy::joy:

Problem is still there, there are movies which are recognized and matched but still don’t show the poster.

I get that too only when using a browser on my mobile iOS devices using safari. I never have the issue on any  tv, Firestick, smart tv or Plex mobile apps. When and what application or browser is this happening in and is it happening in other applications for you?
