Plex Movie Posters default to blank/black!

Hi Plex community,

When I download new movies, Plex Server scans all the meta data correctly, but the poster displayed is black / blank by default. This happens to the MAJORITY of movies, but NOT TV shows. All TV show posters are correct.

For movies, I have to manually edit poster and select one of the many posters available. It doesn’t seem to select it automatically for some strange reason.

I tweeted Plex and they suggested I uploaded my LOG files and discuss on forum.

I recently transferred my entire Plex Media Server to a bigger, better computer. I also restarted computer several times, but problem does not go away

Any help would be great!

I’ve seen several topics on this lately. Possibly related to the MoviePosterDB agent. I haven’t experienced this, but don’t use that agent. See the following thread.

This solves the problem! I disabled the MoviePosterDB agent and then reorganized the order of agents as per the other users in the thread supplied by @AstroFisher.
