Hey,
Having a funny issue - I’ve verified that I have the latest server version and I’ve signed into the XB1 app. I’m able to browse my library but the moment I try to play all I get is a black screen.
I can stream videos via the Xbox Media Player Preview app no problem but just a black screen via the Plex app.
When looking at the Activity Log on the PC, it shows the file I’m trying to stream but details show it as “Paused”?

I'm sorry you're experiencing this... Can you please tell me more about what type of media you're attempting to play? Also, what is your server installed on?
Thanks in advance
Ian
It’s installed on a PC with Windows 8.1.
I’ve tried both TV and movies in MKV and MP4 formats and all act the same.
Thanks

Could you please provide the Plex Media Server logs following a failed attempt to play?
Thanks,

I've attached the Media Server log from the latest attempt.
Cheers
EDIT: I've attached a second file as I just had a second attempt and according to the log this got slightly further before hitting issues.
hi, in case you miss it in the other thread:

that worked for me :)

Yeah your problem is definitely not having the xbox one profile
Just reinstall the server and it should fix the issue

It does appear that your install is missing the profile :( Can I ask, what platform have you install the server on? Is it Windows?

It's Windows 8.1 - but having tried what the guys above mentioned, all works fine now. Looks like it was the custom Xbox One profile that was added to the forum a few weeks back causing the issues.
Cheers guys.
