When plex-web preferences are set to anything but burn and the video has subtitles, this happens.
Playback is fine, then suddenly you just get a black video and audio stops, checking the console I can see whenever this occurs I have a “[Subtitles] Request failed. statusCode:0 state:4 errorCount:4”
Then the choice to transcode happens again, but this time it decides to burn subs even though it’s HTML5 and doesn’t need to, then any .ts requests fail after that.
On the initial starting of playback it doesn’t decide to burn, I think this mid-change is what causes the issue.
I’m not sure when this bug was introduced but I think it was recent.
