Breach / Password reset => Switch user not working

On my end,

I have reset the password, added 2FA, reconnected the Plex Media server to my plex accounts, all seems to work.

Issue i now have is when i log back on my kids smartphones (managed users), i log with my home owner user, and then when i want to switch user to go to their profile, i am redirected to the Login page.

I tried 3 or 4 times, same behaviour.

Prior to this security breach, i was able to switch between user without being logged out.

Bottom line: my kids cannot use plexamp with their own user login.

Anyone has the same issue?

Any solutions?

Right, that would make sense.

But, I just tried to install and same behaviour (DSM 7.2.2-72806 Update 4 user here)

By the way, the blog post is talking about 1.42.1 but it was released 11th of august, before the breach it is supposed to patch.

So is it about installing the beta version, 1.42.2 that was released 4th of sept (also before the breach…).

Still facing issues:

Managed & Home users don’t see any shared libraries on PLEX app (PS5 or phone)

And on Plexamp i cannot swtich users at all, it redirect me to the login page.

Any idea how to fix this?

Managed & Home users don’t see any shared libraries on PLEX app (PS5 or phone)

You currently have no shared libraries.
Your server may have gotten a new identity. All existing shares were connected with the old identity.
Go here: https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/plex-home
as well as here https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/manage-library-access
and click on each user name. Then recreate the access permissions they each had on the old server, on the new server instance.
