I have no idea what to do at this point. I have dumped tons of money into trying to fix this issue and now I’m not sure what to do at this point.
I get occasional choppy video as well as buffering even when playing local media.
I first thought my buffering issues were due to me doing things on my pc while I streamed 4k content. so I built a dedicated plex server PC. Movies still buffered. I used to play movies over wifi. Then I got a switch so that I could have direct connection from my pc to the TV. Found out the TV only supports up to 100Mbps when direct connected since it was still buffering. So I looked into getting an Nvidia Shield. Nvidia shield, and plex server pc are all direct connected. I’m still getting playback issues. No transcoding is involved. I still get buffering and I have no idea what else to do.
