Bug: Adding postprocessing script while recording stops existing recordings

Hi,

Just got set up with DVR for the first time, and I’ve been configuring Comskip/Comcut to remove ads from my recordings.

As I was building the script to run things, I set plex to record a couple of shows so that I’d have something to work on after. I completed the script, and added it as the postprocessing script before the shows finished recording.

I noticed that the shows didn’t appear in my library after ending, and the recording entries in the recording schedule are stuck at 100%, long afterward.

Digging in to Plex Tuner Service.log, I can see that the system began recording at the correct time, and at the time when I added the postprocessing script, stopped the recordings. The two recordings stop a few minutes apart, which is strange.

I know the timing from Plex Media Server.log, which contains:

Jun 03, 2017 11:18:57.507 [0x7000006b8000] DEBUG - Completed: [192.168.1.109:58975] 200 PUT /livetv/dvrs/3/prefs?startOffsetMinutes=0&endOffsetMinutes=0&useUmp=true&postprocessingScript=%2FUsers%2FMYUSERDIR%2Fremove_commercials.sh (6 live) TLS GZIP 9ms 1891 bytes (pipelined: 1)

I’ve attached the contents of Plex Tuner Service.log from the time frame where this occurred.

I’m on OSX 10.11.6, running PMS 1.7.2.3878.

An update: broken versions of the recordings have appeared after about a half an hour – they cut out at the time when the recordings stopped above. I assume that they were picked up by a periodic scan of the directory.
