BUG: Casting option disappears

Greetings,
Plex (on the Shield) has two options to cast to:

  1. Shield Android TV - where it takes over the device with an onscreen message ‘ready to cast’; and
  2. Plex for Android - where it allows you to cast to the Shield passively (without the forced on screen message).

Option 2 being superior IMHO

However, since the second last two update Option 2 disappears after a few hours of non-use. The only way to bring it back is to load the Plex client - which defeats the purpose of casting

Can this be fixed please?

This is why there are 2 options. 1 is the built in Google Cast feature for all Android TV devices. This is an OS level ability so it is always available. 2 is the Plex version. This allows casting from Plex clients to other Plex clients. The Plex client has to be running for this to work.
