played some movies from an auto playlist

movies did not clear/complete from CONTINUE WATCHING

should be easily reproducible

  • create auto playlist of (unwatched) movies
  • start playlist
  • let movies run without interruption
  • monitor ‘on deck’ from plex web.

potentially related to this;

sometimes videos will start but not play, the resolution/framerate will change and the video will display first frame, but it will be ‘paused’, however the play button will be in play mode.

To start video from this state, you must pause then play again.

This appears to be specific to the android EXPERIMENTAL player.

Disabling the new player videos correctly clear themselves from CONTINUE WATCHING.

further, videos correctly start immediately upon play, instead of starting in a weird ‘pause’ mode.
