What can we do about this? Plex has not said anything at all, some of us are Plex Pass Users. Server version keeps upgrading, also IOS app, but this problem with library’s with to many photos just colapse.
I am also facing this on multiple devices when using iOS apps (see post linked to this discussion),
It also occurs against two different server installs, one Linux (docker) and one on Mac mini.
It’s 100% repeatable and I’m up for providing whatever debug can help but seems like a lot of data has already been provided?

Hi at Plex,
I just did some research of how to get the log from Plex Mobile; within the idea to give additional information in order to find out what happens with IOS APP everytime we get into a photos library or timeline library.
The log is at the time i access the app and it stops when the app freezes.

I just updated to the latest Plex IOS App, and it appears, although nobody from plex ever acknowledged this issue, they have fixed it.

OMG I am so thankful this problem has been resolved; I don’t think I saw any literature on this topic in the app store but time line with about 2500 of my photos are working perfectly. Thank you plex for a fixing this problem
Indeed, the latest iOS app on iPad Pro and iPhone now works correctly.
