Bug: Lost recordings when overlap

While testing out if I can overlap recordings on the same channel I noticed that I lost some of the recordings after the recording schedule was over. At one point it was recording Wild Kratts and then it recorded the show after it and I checked back, I didn’t have any copy of Wild Kratts on the server. It’s not in the DVR schedule anymore even though it was in there while it was recording.

Side note - Trying that topic’s suggestion of removing partial recordings and what I got was nothing in the second slot recorded (yeah, ok, I told it I didn’t want part of a show), but the error listed says “not enough disk space” when it should probably say “no free tuner”

Using a ramdisk for transcoding should come with a warning that it will probably break the DVR operation.

Switch to a real file system.

Why would it need to transcode? I have “convert video while recording” set to off

Because that is where Plex temporarily saves the live buffer segments while you are watching tv and/or assembling the DVR file.
