After playing a movie with DTS5.1, music will appear to play but no audio will be heard. Can still play TV and movie content fine, just no audio from music or podcasts. Music will appear to be playing fine and report as playing on the server, but no audio and seems to be all file types (FLAC, AAC, MP3, etc). Audio will only play again after force quitting the app. This is running Oreo Android TV on Sony.
No replies at all? It’s frustratingly reproduceable, particularly since PMP is being killed off and these apps are supposed to be the glorious future of entertainment.

your not the only one with this issue.
This issue is also occurring with my Sony X850E TV and appears to have started after the player was updated (7.20.0.11992). The only way I have found to resolve the issue was to unplug my TV…plug back-in after 10 secs. and music audio works (both through TV speakers and stereo). But this is a temp-fix…for after playing a video the issue returns.

I’ll give this a go, but I’d love to ask if you could provide more logs as soon as you see the issue, as that will make easier the investigation process.

@blkqi the team is investigating the issue, we’re trying to gather as much information as possible about which devices are affected and what are the “user cases” for the issue. So far I’ve been able to reproduce the issue on a NVIDIA SHIELD running SHIELD TV Experience 8 (Android 9), after putting device to sleep and waking it up.
