Bug? Plex not seeing both tuners

I have a HDHR Connect Duo (HDHR5-2US) and when I was trying to watch something while recording something else I got the error ‘Unable to tune channel (No parts)’. I tried debugging it a bit and it turns out that with no recordings, if I watch 1 stream it works fine, but if I open another stream in another tab I got the same error. The HDHR status page shows that Tuner 2 isn’t being used at all when Plex was trying to tune the 2nd page. I then opened up the HDHR app on top of the first Plex stream and it works fine, and the HDHR status page shows that both tuners are being used. So for some reason Plex isn’t seeing the 2nd tuner.

Is this a bug that only lets you watch 1 stream even if you have 2 tuners? If so, how do I fix this?

Did a little more testing, and it seems like restarting the server made it work again. It seems like the error was caused by opening a stream and closing the tab instead of the close button causing plex to let go of 1 of the tuners but not record it does so, because it still says 2 recording in settings even if theres only 1 recording.

I am seeing the same type of issue. I am running Plex on Synology 918+ and it says that it has both of the tuners in use when they are not according to the HD Homerun status monitor. Hopefully Plex will be able to resolve this issue in the next release because it is very annoying to have a media server that doesn’t serve media (DVR functionality).
