I have a hardware mixer connected over USB (Mackie ProFX10v3+). The mixer has 4 available output channels:
channel 1+2 is L+R output to Monitor / Phones
channel 3+4 is L+R output to Line 7/8 on the mixer (and as such, outputs through main on the speakers)
On macOS, using Audio MIDI Setup, the default channels can be changed:
Unfortunately, it seems PlexAmp bypasses / ignores this configuration (I’m assuming for multi-channel 5.1 etc audio).
In turn, this means I currently can’t output Plexamp audio through my speakers, even though my settings are set to “System Default” for Audio Device:
