I’m trying to setup Plex DVR, with my HDHomeRun with a Local over the air broadcast (since it’s an antenna). Upon attempting to do, I get the following error - “Error communicating with provider”.

Same here using the lastest PMS on Open Media Vault. I have been having continuing problems with the EPG this past week so I tried to rebuild the server and got stuck at this same point. I hope they get this fixed ASAP because I already missed a bunch of recordings last night and my only reason to pay for Plex is to record OTA shows.

Same here,…upon setup it correctly scans channels using Antenna, then cycles while looking for best guide,…then uses Comcast/Xfinity which is incorrect.
Edit; finally offered OTA guide. I did have to input my HDHomerun IP address however, as my Quattro was not found. Crazy, but working.
Check the status page. They are having issues with the provider…

@Plex can you guys give us an ETA? I just bought my HDhomerun device and really want to evaluate whether I want to keep it or return it.
Does anyone know how I can run another grabber service to grab the XMLTV EPG.
I am currently running UnRaid which runs my plex server, there are a few grabber applications but I can’t seem to figure out how to use them.
I am very inexperienced in the CMD line configuration and stuff I tried to use XMLTV SchedulesDirect but couldn’t figure it out

It has been nearly a week. I mistakenly deleted my DVR and tried to reinstall it to correct the problem before the problem was addressed, so I have lost ALL my channels and programming. I have not been able to record for nearly a week. I feel this is completely unacceptable. We (the users) need an status update. ALSO - HOW DO WE APPLY FOR A CREDIT for the MONTHLY PLEX PASS. I feel that we deserve a FULL refund for this month.

Not happy, I just went to review Monday’s recordings and they are all gone! I know I checked the previous night and they were still scheduled! Not happy about this. This is the 2nd time in about 3 months, and it’s always been radio silence from plex team
Just looked at my recording schedule for today and it’s all gone. However I just checked the plex status page and it says it’s all cleared? Of course no RFO
I have the same problem where all of my recordings from today are gone. Also, the recording priority list does not seem to always understand when I have tried to set a show to be DVR’d.

Forgot to add, I did a scan and the EPG data fully downloaded…so lets hope it’s a permanent fix.
@cahuja, if you add your recordings back in, the previous recordings don’t get written out. Also, this lowers the shows recording priority FYI
