When you fast forward a bit, the sound goes out of sync on my NVIDIA Shield Pro device. As a workaround, I just press the rewind button one time, which usually fixes the desync. This issue does not occur on any of my Roku devices, at least not as consistently.

+1 on this problem. It’s infuriating. Do I need to buy you all a shield to test on?
One observation - turning off Device Preferences → Display & Sound → Advanced sound settings → Dolby audio processing seems to prevent this in my limited testing. Unfortunately, I have a Shields on a mix of tv/audio setups so I can’t do this on all of them. This happens on my buddie’s Sony smart TV too, so i suspect this is an issue on all Android TV Plex clients. This seems like the area for the dev team to look.
Nice find! Should be okay to have that setting disabled since Shield/Plex can passthrough everything through AVR. Hopefully this workaround can be a permanent fix.

Reverting back to enabling Dolby audio processing.
