When record any channel there is a overlay of texttvl

I use Channels on my Atv without any problems.
Seems only to be TV2 channels

All my recordings save teletext as subtitles and I have subtitles on by default, so I had a similar experience. Try to check if thats the case for you as well.

At least in my case (recording YLE channels in Finland) teletext is apparently assumed to contain subtitles so it gets recorded as a subtitle track. Just selecting subtitles: none made a recording watchable. Of course the real issue then is having control over whether teletext is being used as a subtitle source or not, since it varies by channel if it’s used exclusively for that or like in our case, contains something completely different.
Same here, that’s how it looks like with subtitles1 enabled (a second subtitle option works as intended):
yea its related to subtitles and i have also seen on other channels than tv2.
Not sure if subtitle are also on the same imbedded data as Closed Captioning but if so CC in Beta 3 is currently turned off. The developers have been having issue with the different font types so they just turned if off for now. So it could be affecting subtitles.

It could be nice to know if Plex have registered this bug?
I have the same problem. Is this not fixed, or is it down to error 40?
It works when subtitles is set to manual.
It seems like it is fixed for recording tv. Now I have the same issue when watching live tv
